FAQs

Q: What is the minimum size and resolution for my images in order to upload?

A: 150ppi

pocket: 600 x 600 pixels = 4" x 4"
horizontal: 2100 x 1800 pixels = 14" x 12"
vertical: 1800 x 2100 pixels = 12" x 14"

The images you upload will be converted to 150ppi (pixels per inch) if they aren’t already at this resolution. This means every 150 pixels in your image will become 1 inch when printed. For example, if you submit a 1200 pixel by 1500 pixel image for an apparel product, it will be printed at 8" by 10". (1200 pixels tableided by 150 pixels/inch = 8 inches, 1500 pixels tableided by 150 pixels/inch = 10 inches.)

NOTE:  If your image is bigger than these sizes, it'll turn out even better since it will be printed at an even higher resolution than the minimum.

Q: Is there anything special I need to know when designing a dark shirt?

A: When you design for our non-dark styles and colors, any 'white' in your design is ignored and not printed.
It is treated as transparent, so that the color of the shirt shows through.
For more information on transparency in Dark Apparel Images, please see below.

Designing with Text and Images
You can easily add text in any color on your design. White text looks great on a black t-shirt!

Image Formats
Specifically for dark apparel, PNG images with transparency are recommended.  For all products, we support images in either PNG or JPEG formats.

Images with the color white
When you design for our non-dark styles and colors, any 'white' in your design is ignored and not printed. It is treated as transparent, so that the color of the shirt shows through.
When designing for dark apparel, you now have the ability to specify which parts of your design should be transparent, and which parts should actually be printed as 'white'.

PNG Images
For dark apparel, we recommend PNG images with transparency. For transparency to be supported, your images must be 32-bit PNGs with alpha channel.
Any areas that are supposed to be transparent will not be printed, and all other colors including white will be printed as intended. The only way to specify that 'white' will be printed is if you use images with transparency. Partial transparency is not supported, if an area is not fully transparent, it will be printed as opaque.  Most graphics programs (e.g. Photoshop) support 32-bit PNG images with transparency.
Please note that for designing on all styles aside from basic dark T-shirts, white areas will not be printed regardless of image format.

JPEG Images
For dark apparel, JPEG images are also supported. With JPEG images, by default, any white areas or pixels will be treated as transparent. We do this because in many JPEG images, the "white" area is a background that should not be printed as part of the actual image. In place of the white, you will see the background color of the shirt.

Q: Are there any special washing instructions for my shirt?

A: For best results, it's recommended for the first wash that you turn the shirt inside out, wash on gentle cycle, then hang dry or dry on delicate cycle. Wash / dry normally thereafter - no chlorine bleach and lower heat settings will cause less shrinking of cotton.

Q: How long will it take for my purchase to be shipped?

A: We work hard to get orders out as quickly as possible. Our goal is to have an order shipped within 10 days of placing your order.  We also provide rush shipping service at an additional charge if you need it in a hurry!  See shipping options at the time of checkout.

Q: What brands do you carry?

A: Please see our products page to see all brands currently available.  We carry top brands and offer a wide variety of sizes, colors, styles, and material weights.   If you like heavier weight shirts, need special colors, or need a beefier sized t-shirt to fit your frame, we have it!
